This year's Turning Pointe Gala is the hottest event in town! A rich celebration of dance, music, and regional cuisine, "Tango Rojo" turns up the heat. Live music by Dizzy 7 and JAZZ R US, Argentine tango, and fine wines pair perfectly with decadent South American fare.  This year's event will be held at the Chenal Country Club on April 1, 2023 between the hours of 6:00 and 10:00 pm and Frank Lawrence, CEO of The Athletic Clubs, will be presented with the prestigious "Above the Barre" award for extraordinary community leadership and arts advocacy. The black-tie optional Gala is Ballet Arkansas's premier fundraising event, and your attendance/sponsorship supports world-class programs and performances that uplift, enrich, and inspire more than 40,000 Arkansans each year. Attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception and silent auction, a seated dinner with live auction, signature performances by the professional dancers of Ballet Arkansas, and dessert, dancing, and a moonlit farewell. We hope you'll join us for "Tango Rojo," a celebration of Ballet Arkansas's 44 wonderful years as a pillar of the Arkansas arts community. It will be an evening to remember. Tickets on sale September 1, 2023 - March 25, 2024.
